Course Details:

Course Title: CCPrep.com's CCNA® Wireless Bootcamp
Prerequisites: CCNA Certification
Course Length: 5 Days
Class Times: 8:30am – finished
Course Cost: $3295.00 (without Food, Lodging, and Ground Transportation $2695)

This class is designed for those students wishing to achieve CCNA Wireless Certification. In this class students are guaranteed to pass the CCNA Wireless Exam*.  This class will cover all the material found in Cisco's Authorized Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials (IUWNE) course.  In addition, the exam will be delivered onsite in our facilities on the last day of class.

The CCNA Wireless will verify an individual’s skills in the following roles: Network Administrators Wireless Technicians, Support Technicians Security engineers focused on wireless networks WLAN project managers Wireless Support Specialists

 The Course will cover:

  • Configuration, implementation and support of wireless LANs, specifically Cisco equipment
  • Installing, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise

Employers hiring individuals can feel confident their staff has the skills needed for basic wireless networking on a Cisco WLAN in SMB and enterprise networks.
 

Couerse Description:


The Cisco® CCNA® Wireless is designed for individuals that would like to pursue careers in: Network Administration, Wireless Technician, Support Technician, Security engineer focused on wireless networks, WLAN project manager, Wireless Support Specialist. Candidates will also learn how to configure, implement and support wireless LANs, specifically Cisco equipment, installing, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise.
Assist a professional in gathering site survey data
Implement assigned WLAN infrastructure devices
Configure a Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC or Controller) to support light weight access points
Configure installed WLAN devices for operation
Implement Access Points
Tune WLC for WLAN operation
Integrate WLAN client devices
Configure Radio Resource Management
Given specific configuration tasks, configure mobility groups

Lab 3-1: Installing and Using the Cisco ADU
Lab 3-2: Experimenting with Connections and Roaming
Lab 4-1: 802.11Q and Web Authentication
Lab 4-2: Configuring EAP-FAST Authentication with WPA
Lab 5-1: Configuring COntrollers and APs from Cisco WCS
Lab 5-2: Working with Maps
Lab 5-3: Monitoring the Network and Containing Devices
Lab 6-1: Back Up the Controller Configuration and the Cisco WCS Database Files
Lab 6-2: Troubleshooting
Lab 6-3: Optional Lab Troubleshooting with Wireshark and Converting and AP to Autonomous Mode
   

*We guarantee our students will pass the CCNA Exam and/or all four exams for CCNP® after completing each respective Bootcamp. If a student does not pass the exam(s), CCPrep will pay for that student to take the exam again (up to three attempts total for CCNA, up to ten attempts total for CCNP). Please note that there is a 5 day wait period between exams.  If the student does not pass the exam they have a one year window to use their test attempts which were included with the class tuition.   If the student does not pass the exam(s) after the maximum attempts allowed, the student may sit the class again for free, only having to pay for their expenses. This guarantee is contingent upon the student meeting the pre-requisites of each course. The CCNA prerequisite is a clear understanding of the OSI Model. The CCNP pre-requisite is passing the CCNA Exam. CCPrep does not guarantee the CCIE® exam.
